SG3125HV-20 - Case
This project is part of a 400MW framework agreement developed in Spain and Chile. This 50MW plant was fit with Sungrow’s SG3125HV-20 central inverter and 7.2MW turnkey solution with 1,500Vdc technology in Bargas, Spain. The project required a solution that would provide a high DC/AC ratio, easy O&M, as well as lower the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE). Learn more about the SG3125HV-20.

As the name suggests, the turnkey solution is an elegant solution that comes with the SG3125HV-20 central inverter, transformer, medium voltage switchboard, and an auxiliary transformer in a 20 to 40 ft container.

The biggest advantage of the turnkey solution is the ease of installation, that allows the inverter to be easily connected to the modules, so that the plant generate energy as quickly as possible.
How does the turnkey solution lower the LCOE?
The powerful central turnkey solution offers a higher power density, which results in a reduction in the number of units needed to install for the power plant. In conclusion, this offers a great decrease of the cost per megawatt, directly lowering the LCOE.
How long did the commissioning take?
The commissioning of this project only took five days, thanks to the high level of integration between Sungrow inverters and the medium voltage skid solution.
