This was the first and the largest rooftop solar project for Sungrow in Germany. The horizontally mounted SG110CX string inverters were installed to suit the space restrictions of the site. The SG110CX provides great flexibility to the installation since each of ist 9 MPPTs works independently in case of rain, clouds or other shadows on the solar panels. Thanks to these independent MPPTs, the SG110CX inverters installed work at their maximum power point, generating higher yields at lower costs.

What is the biggest advantage of the SG110CX for this rooftop installation?
The SG110CX was the preferred choice. Thanks to its high output, the number of devices could be reduced. With multiple MPPTs (Maximum Power Point Trackers) and an IP66 protection class with a simple AC installation, all the technical requirements were met.
How will the energy be used?
This site was in cooperation with our partner, SolarSTEP, to install the flagship SG110CX for a commercial food & beverage wholesaler. All the energy produced onsite will be used for self-consumption.
Were there any extraordinary methods taken for this site?
The SG110CX inverters were mounted horizontally to address the limited space issue on site. Thanks to this tactic, the installation was quick, flexible, and efficient.
