Innovative Design
The PowerTitan 2.0 represents a seamless fusion of cutting-edge technologies in power electronics, electrochemistry, and grid support, positioning it as a formidable player in the utility-scale energy storage market. With an impressive battery cell capacity of 314Ah, it accommodates a Power Conversion System (PCS) within a compact container. This innovative design significantly enhances power density, allowing a 20-ft container to house 5MWh batteries and a 2.5MW PCS.
Cost Efficiency and Grid Support
Notable features of the new PowerTitan include heightened cost-efficiency and grid support. By integrating battery modules and the string PCS within a single container, it achieves more than 7% higher discharged energy capacity over its lifetime. With an improved round-trip efficiency (RTE) of 89.5%, the system simplifies energy conversion between DC and AC power and improves overall system efficiency.
Liquid Cooled Thermal Management
An outstanding characteristic of this system is its liquid-cooled thermal management system, ensuring even heat dissipation. This not only results in a remarkable 20-year system performance life but also enhances charging and discharging efficiency. In addition, its artificial intelligence (AI) technology adapting heat dissipation methods based on battery and environmental temperatures reduces daily energy consumption by 40%.
Stem Cell Grid Tech
The PowerTitan 2.0 incorporates Stem Cell Grid Tech to bolster grid stability and power quality. It offers advanced capabilities such as high and low voltage ride-through, broadband oscillation protection, and rapid power restoration during voltage fluctuations.
Safety First
AI-Monitored Cells and Multi-Layer Protection Safety is paramount with the PowerTitan, featuring AI-monitored cells for real-time safety and four layers of protection against electrical hazards. The system's compartmentalised design further enhances safety.
Seamless Integration
With pre-installed parameters and a modular design that reduces on-site commissioning time to ensure that the project can be connected to the power grid with minimal effort and therefore quickly gets into the profit zone. The system is also designed for environmental resilience, boasting a C5 anti-corrosion rating and IP55 protection, capable of functioning at altitudes up to 4,500 meters with 100% nominal power.

Integrando i moduli batteria e il PCS in un unico container, il sistema raggiunge una capacità energetica di scarica superiore del 7% nel corso della sua vita. Con un RTE migliorata dell'89,5%, il sistema semplifica la conversione dell'energia tra corrente continua e corrente alternata e migliora l'efficienza complessiva del sistema.
Gestione termica con raffreddamento a liquido
Una caratteristica eccezionale di questo sistema è il sistema di gestione termica con raffreddamento a liquido, che garantisce una dissipazione uniforme del calore. Questo non solo garantisce una notevole durata del sistema di 20 anni, ma migliora anche l'efficienza di carica e scarica.
Inoltre, la sua tecnologia di Intelligenza artificiale (AI), che adatta i metodi di dissipazione del calore in base alle temperature della batteria e dell'ambiente, riduce il consumo energetico giornaliero del 40%.

Il PowerTitan 2.0 incorpora la Stem Cell Grid Tech per rafforzare la stabilità della rete e la qualità dell'energia. Offre funzionalità avanzate come high and low voltage ride-through, broadband oscillation protection e il ripristino rapido della potenza durante le fluttuazioni di tensione.

La sicurezza è massima con il Power Titan: celle monitorate da Intelligenza Artificiale per un controllo in tempo reale e quattro livelli di protezione contro i rischi elettrici.
Il design a compartimenti stagni del sistema aumenta ulteriormente la sicurezza.
Integrazione seamsless
Grazie ai parametri preinstallati e ad un design modulare che riduce i tempi di messa in servizio in loco, il progetto può essere collegato alla rete elettrica con il minimo sforzo e in maniera efficiente. Il sistema è inoltre progettato per resistere all'ambiente, vantando un grado di anticorrosione C5 e una protezione IP55, in grado di funzionare ad altitudini fino a 4.500 metri con una potenza nominale del 100%.

As the first European project equipped with Sungrow’s advanced PowerTitan 2.0 liquid-cooled technology, Bramley BESS is among the UK’s longest-duration and most versatile energy storage assets.
The system will play a critical role in balancing variable electricity demand and intermittent supply, enabling the integration of additional renewable energy into the grid. Bramley’s capacity is sufficient to meet the average daily electricity needs of 44,000 UK homes, helping reduce emissions, costs, and energy prices while enhancing system resilience.
